What amazes me about the Tinky Winky thing is that it was accused of being gay on the basis of having a purse, but the possibility of it being female hasn't been mentioned. |

What is so bizarre to me is how trivial the matter was. They made a bigger deal of it than it would have been had they just ignored the supposed symbolism. Here is a bit of irony though. I agree with the thought that creating such a huge stink may well have only ended up giving Dr. Pepper a lot of unanticipated exposure for the ad (more bang for their advertizing buck), and I hope so anyway. 'Exorcisms for the Republican party', lol. |
