Ran across [url=https://www.academia.edu/10039504/_Protective_Strategies_and_the_Prestige_of_the_Academic_A_Religious_Studies_and_Practice_Theory_Redescription_of_Evangelical_Inerrantist_Scholarship]this[/url] and thought you might find it interesting. Its a bit of a dry read so I'll summarize. The author is basically saying that religious scholars who claim that the bible is inerrant should be studied as examples of how religion distorts academic thought.
